It all started in 1940, when Vince Whibbs joined the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors. Rising rapidly through the organization, Vince Whibbs absorbed all aspects of the manufacturing and sales process. In October of 1958, Vince embarked on his most challenging task, he opened what is today Vince Whibbs Automotive Group.
Within the greater Pensacola area, Vince Whibbs is well known having served as city councilman, mayor, President of the Greater Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce and remains active in numerous clubs, civic activities, charities and many organizations.
Today, Vince Whibbs Automotive Group proudly represents five well established lines. The chairman of the board is Vince Whibbs. At the helm is Mark Whibbs, CEO/General Manager since 1990. The sales operation is cared for by Greg Whibbs, General Sales Manager, J.P. Whibbs, and Jack Brown.
